Physical Substation Engineer DVG Team is looking for a Physical Substation Engineer to join our team at our Crown Point, IN office. Duties and Responsibilities Partner with a multi-discipline team to develop designs of electrical substations to support the safe and reliable delivery of electricity Training and mentoring less experienced engineers in their technical and professional development Leading/overseeing substation physical and protection and controls design Leading/overseeing the preparation of equipment specifications Draft / design distribution and sub-transmission up to 69kV line engineering projects to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, standards, and codes Modify one-lines, three-lines, control schematics, wiring diagrams, relay panel arrangements, and cable lists for high voltage (32.4-230kV) substations Assist with construction documents for the installation of new, or modifications of existing, substations Calculations for fusing coordination, voltage drops, transformer loading, etc. Ability to work methodically and analytically in a quantitative problem-solving environmental and demonstrated critical thinking skills Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Structural Engineering 5-10 years of substation design experience Proficiency with AutoCAD and Microsoft Suite Fundamentals of Engineering License preferred Professional Engineer License preferred

A successful candidate with 15 or more years of experience will possess extensive technical design experience with site development projects, including site layouts, roadway design, vehicular and/or pedestrian access, site grading, pollution control, and stormwater management. Project Coordinator DVG Team, Inc. is seeking a Project Coordinator candidate for full time employment at their Crown Point, Indiana location. This position is responsible for providing general administrative support to assigned Project Managers. This position works under only general supervision and requires training, prior experience, and/or knowledge within the architectural or engineering field as a Project Manager Assistant or similar capacity. Duties and Responsibilities Assist Project Manager (PM) or managers and production staff in the implementation, organization, and project management of multi-disciplined projects in the Market Sectors of Civil, Structural, Survey, Landscaping, Utilities, and Planning Proofread, draft, and format documents produced for or by the PM and/or staff members to ensure data accuracy and required inserts, consistency of style, application of DCG and client standards, and overall quality. Continuous follow up, tracking and communication with PM(s) on status, edits, and revisions needed for project documentation (proposals, A/S letters, client follow up, etc.) Maintains up-to-date project files, including hardcopy and electronic versions, with all correspondence, documentation, legal documents, and submittal documents according to DVG standards Log in/out and distribute Requests for Information (RFI) and Shop Drawing (SD) submittals and coordinate these efforts with the Project Team and Contractor(s) for all eligible projects. Administer and oversee proper recordkeeping of assigned PM’s Addendum, Change Orders, and Construction Bulletins according to office procedures. Accurate input into shared database for all eligible projects under your assigned PM, including, but not limited to: Proposal status, RFI/SD Review status, project schedules (from start date to substantial/final completion), etc. Distributes project information to appropriate members of the DVG project Team, Client Team, and other consultants in a timely fashion. May have occasional contract with Client and other outside consultants regarding transfer of information, documents, timelines, etc. Consult with PM and Project Team on a project to ensure deliverables are sent to the Architect and/or when requested by the PM. Ensure all disciplines are coordinated and sent together Notify PM and Project Team if Client has not provided needed information in a timely manner. Assist with follow up in needed. Distributes to Project Team copies of all pertinent project information & documentation, etc. Includes Corporate on all items regarding proposal set up, signed contract execution, billing/invoicing items such as A/S letters, WIP reports Assist PM in scheduling review meetings, coordination meetings, and progress meetings Alert PM to anything that might not be in the best interest of the project, Client satisfaction, or may have a negative effect on the team Create transmittals for outgoing mail and deliveries Responsible for invoicing Clients for work performed on a monthly basis and follow up on collection of receivables Assist PM and Project Team with, filing, scheduling appointments, setting up, attending meetings, and recording meeting notes (as necessary), organizing lunch for meetings, follow up of phone messages, drafting and typing correspondence, monitor, receive, and compile fees from department heads for proposal, other duties as assigned

Land Planner DVG Team is looking for a Land Planner to join our team at our Crown Point, IN office. You will play a lead role in conceptual site design for our upcoming development projects, contributing to the continued success of our business. You will work with the dealmakers, developers, and other key stakeholders to facilitate a wide variety of activities associated with land planning, technical drawings, due diligence and entitlements. You will report to our Director of Civil Engineering. Duties and Responsibilities Designing, developing, constructing, drawing and planning a vast array of residential and commercial projects Analyze and develop the most efficient and cost-efficient site designs for residential and commercial real estate development opportunities, in compliance with identified local codes and ordinances Evaluate municipal codes, wetland/floodplains, topography, soils, zoning, external customer requirements, and integrate into conceptual site plans Research and coordinate the minucipal approval process and third-party review agencies Advise team on potential cost and constructability effects of design and creatively solve site planning challenges Prepare presentation quality materials for stakeholders Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Design, Architecture, Landscape Architecture, Urban Planning, Civil Engineering or similar degree Knowledge of land-site planning process Proficient in AutoCAD software Manage competing demands while maintaining quality work product
Traffic Engineer Duties and Responsibilities Demonstrate proficiency in all traffic design concepts, software, manuals, and criteria Conduct or supervise field activities such as traffic counts, traffic observations, origin destination studies. Develop safety studies, intersection/interchange modifications studies, signal timing studies, traffic modeling, signing and pavement marking plans, and DOT plans. Perform traffic impact studies for new developments. Assist on various Roadway Design elements. Prepare elements within Traffic Impact Analyses & Studies (including fieldwork/traffic counts, projection of traffic volumes, and trip generation/distribution). Responding to queries of public and other departments in a satisfactory manner. Performing administrative engineering duties such as issuance of permits and review of applications. Perform compilation of data and convert them into information and plans. Maintain files and supporting documentation in accordance with company policy and accepted practices. Develop PS&E under instruction from supervisor. Construction inspection or field reconnaissance as assigned. Education/Experience Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Civil Engineering (preferred with a Transportation focus). 0-3 years of related experience. Familiary of AutoCAD and/or MicroStation. Familiarity of various traffic analysis software (Synchro, HCS, SIDRA). Knowledge of engineering standards as well as state and local regulations a plus.
